labama Beta brothers from the mid-1960s through early 1970s recently held two mini-
reunions in the Birmingham area. The most recent one was on June 26 at Twin Peaks in
Hoover.
Many brothers had not seen each other since their college years. Needless to say, many stories were
shared, tales were told, and brotherly bonds were renewed. The first event was held back in Decem-
ber 2018. Due to the overwhelming success of that reunion, it was unanimously decided to plan get-
togethers on a regular basis. The next reunion is tentatively planned for November or December of

Symms '70, Hammond Cobb '72, Michael Berndt '67, and Mike O'Donnell '70. Brothers traveled
from as far as Huntsville; Montgomery; Inlet Beach, Fla.; and Atlanta, Ga., to attend the reunions.
We hope to see several more '60s and '70s alumni at our next reunion!
