"Most business owners see their company as their life's work; it's their identity. Many owners today are baby boomers and reach a point where they don't know how to receive the value they have created. OneAccord helps them maintain their legacy, teaching the next generation how to run companies, all while keeping businesses in the Northwest." Today, OneAc- cord is made up of Solomon's Fund, OneAccord Capital Advisors, and OneAccord Partners, three legs of a stool holding up OneAccord's vision. AVOCATIONAL CALLINGS Jeff is particular about the difference between vocation and advocation. OneAccord is his vocation, a purposeful and intentional experience that helps him grow and aligns with his gifts and experiences. His avocation is applying those same gifts and experiences towards doing good, in his case, coaching and involvement with non-profits. Jeff's wife, Amy (UW Delta Gamma) and sister, Julie (UW Kappa Kappa Gamma) co-developed what is now HEED Uganda and DoingGood, centered around water projects, schools, and business incubation in Uganda. In addition, Jeff founded KIROS, an orga- nization whose mission is to connect faith and values to the marketplace. KIROS has around 8,000 business leaders attending three chapters in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue. Another passion, Jeff has coached over 20 girls' soccer and basketball teams and instructs with the Porsche and BMW clubs at the race track. His role as coach allows him to see other people succeed and accomplish things they didn't think possible. It's clear Jeff endeavors to align with his calling in giving back and is proud many of his Mu brothers are also involved in philanthropic endeavors themselves. For those who might not have found their advocational passions yet, take a note from Jeff's own story. "You can build community around anything you have a passion about. Find your passion and build your community around what you already enjoy doing." Mu Chapter is proud to call Jeff our brother. He is a prime example of an Alpha Sigma Phi brother and a beacon of integrity, character, and love. Jeff and Amy have three children. Lauren (28) works for Amazon Web Services in Chicago managing enterprise partner accounts; Addy (24) works in PR for the Micro- soft corporate philanthropy group; and Cameryn (19) is in the engineering program at UW.
