t seems like only yesterday we were arriving on campus and
moving into the dorms. Filled with excitement and anticipation,
we began our recruitment journey—experiencing our first house
tour. Do you remember the moment you knew you wanted to be a
member of Tri Delta? Or the joy of receiving your bid from Delta
Xi and the realization you'd be going home to 901 Richmond?
You found your home, a community, a sisterhood, and friendships
that would last a lifetime. You may not have known it then, but you
were on your way to discovering your niche, honing your personal
and professional interests, and getting ready to launch your life,
career, and family.
Since 1926, we have pledged some of Mizzou's finest young women
to Tri Delta attracted by Delta Xi's consistent focus on philanthropy
and leadership on campus and in the community. Our founders
believed in the potential of young women and sought to create a
space for women to have an impact on the world. We are confident
they would be proud of our Chapter today as we seek the same
values of sisterhood, well-being, human dignity, and heritage
that have benefitted nearly 2,000 women who've graced our halls
during the past 93 years.
