6B Daily News – Wednesday, March 6, 2013 Commerce business&enterprise On to the Round-Up Thanks to everyone who stopped by our first ever B.E.A.M. Business Expo and After Hours Mixer. We hope this is the first of many mixer opportunities where the public comes out to get a glimpse of the great businesses in our area. Next up, 11 Days of Round Up. The chamber will be busy organizing vendors for the chili cook off, the Cowboy Coffee, the business decorating contest, the annual Round Up parade and finally, we're bringing back the Cowboy Golf Tournament at Wilcox Oaks Golf Club on Friday, April 19. If your business would like to be a tee sponsor or if you are interested in being on a team, or if you just like hanging out with cowboys, this is a great event for you. Someone will walk away with a Cadillac that day. Not just a chance at a Cadillac either, this is the real deal. Contact the chamber for more details. We are also hard at work organizing the fourth annual Red Bluff Crawdad Festival. Mark your calendars for June 7, 8 and 9 at the Tehama District Fairground. This event promises to be a great time with Cajun music, tons of vendors, Kids Fun Zone and world famous crawdads. Since we are more than half way through my term as chamber chairwoman I want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful board members, hardworking ambassadors and also thank the City Council and city manager for a great working relationship. I think we are moving forward in a positive direction with the focus on new events, building tourism opportunities and promoting business growth.
