When July 4th, 2019 12 noon until 10:00 pm Fireworks at dusk Where Gentry City Park Activities Car Show 10 am - 4 pm Kid's Zone Activities 1 pm - 4 pm Wild Wilderness Safari Petting Zoo Arts & Crafts Vendors Food Vendors Fun for all ages This is the largest July 4th event in western Benton County and one of the largest in NWA! This year marks the 125th annual 4th of July celebration for the City of Gentry. The City of Gentry declared in 1894 that July 4th would be the official day of celebration for the City of Gentry, and July 4th has been observed with a city celebration every year since then. Gentry chamber of commerce presents July 4th Freedom Fest celebration There is a large celebration planned with several live bands leading up to the headliner, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils performing at 7:30 pm. One of the best fireworks displays in Northwest Arkansas follows at dusk. Last year an estimtated 12,000 people attended the event. The live entertainment and most activities are free and provided by the Gentry Chamber and their sponsors. There are crafts vendors, food vendors, a Kid's Zone, Car Show and Wild Wilderness Safari Petting Zoo. No pets will be allowed in park during festival, exception is ADA dogs with appropriate paperwork.
