Galaxy Bark
Simple chocolate bark can be made with a plastic
zipper bag, a microwave and some chocolate wafers
used for candy.
To make ours, we used:
•Parchment paper laid flat on the counter
•Four plastic zipper bags
•Chocolate candy wafers, and blue, purple
and white candy wafers
•Silver sugar crystals
•Spatula
Melt the chocolate in the microwave 15 seconds
at a time in a zipper bag. Make sure there are no
lumps by squeezing the bag. Cut a corner of the bag
and spread out over parchment or wax paper so it is
about 1/4 inch thick. Let it set.
Now heat up the blue, purple and white chips.
Make a tiny hole in the corner of the zipper bags
and squeeze out the colors on the dark chocolate.
Use a spatula or back of a spoon to swirl the colors
into your galaxies. Sprinkle silver sugar on it for stars.
Add other decorations or sprinkles if you like. Let
your galaxy bark harden on the counter for about
an hour. You can break it up in pieces to share with
your friends.
