Do your part for planet earth and enter to win a sculpture contest
at the Benton County Fair or the Washington County Fair!
1. Create a unique sculpture out of litter that has been TOSSED.
• Sculptures can be built and entered as a group or individual.
• It must be made of litter material that has been picked up in the community.
• Up to FOUR items from household recycling bins can be included.
• Any type of glue, adhesive, wire, screws or nails can be used.
• Sculpture can be painted.
• Sculpture should not be larger than 36 in. x 18 in. x 24 in. (length x width x height)
and should not weigh more than 25 pounds.
2. Enter and register it online. (There is no entry fee.)
For the Benton County Fair: register at http://bentorar.fairwire.com before August 1st.
For the Washington County Fair: contact Linda Simpson at Lsimpson@uaex.edu before August 12.
3. Check in to display your sculpture at the Benton County Fairgrounds on
August 3 or at the Washington County Fairgrounds on August 17.
4. Fairgoers will vote on the sculptures during the Benton County Fair
August 6-10 and at the Washington County Fair on August 20-24.
Crowd favorites in each of the seven divisions will win a
$50 WalMart gift card.
