The chart below shows a breakdown of living, mailable Mississippi Beta alumnae by initiation year. Exhibit A on the following page shows the Mississippi Beta Chapter alumnae distribution across the United States. Of the entire alumnae database, 1,303 (73%) alumnae reside in the southeastern region of the country. Exhibit B shows the concentration of alumnae in specific metropolitan areas, such as Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Jackson, Memphis, Nashville, and Oxford. Areas of red indicate a high concentration of alumnae. Face-to-face contact with alumnae is crucial to securing the necessary leadership gifts for a significant capital campaign. Due to significant populations of alumnae in the southeast, the necessary travel can be conducted efficiently and effectively with regard to time and expenses.
