of Mississippi Beta's database.
The chart below shows a breakdown of living, mailable Mississippi Beta alumnae
by initiation year.
Exhibit A on the following page shows the Mississippi Beta Chapter alumnae
distribution across the United States. Of the entire alumnae database, 1,303 (73%)
alumnae reside in the southeastern region of the country. Exhibit B shows the
concentration of alumnae in specific metropolitan areas, such as Atlanta, Dallas,
Houston, Jackson, Memphis, Nashville, and Oxford. Areas of red indicate a high
concentration of alumnae. Face-to-face contact with alumnae is crucial to securing
the necessary leadership gifts for a significant capital campaign. Due to significant
populations of alumnae in the southeast, the necessary travel can be conducted
efficiently and effectively with regard to time and expenses. For prospects outside
these primary regions, Pennington & Company has more than 30 consultants who
travel the country for projects and are equipped to assist the chapter.
