would influence the size of their gift. Twenty percent of alumnae said it may
influence their gift and 23% of alumnae stated it would not be a factor.
The ability to make tax-deductible gifts would have a positive impact on a
campaign. Therefore, it will be important to work with a qualified tax attorney and
architect to maximize the educational space in final project plans. It should be noted
that of the top 10 gift estimates, six alumnae said that receiving a tax deduction
would influence the size of their gift.
