Campers reported hearing an explosion the night before but they didn't know the cause/origin. La Paz County Sheriff's Offi ce said, "It appears that an unknown person(s), was taping (the equivalent of), 1/4 sticks of dynamite to rocks and throwing them in the river. Two undetonated devices were located and safely removed from the area." Divers from the La Paz County Sheriff's Offi ce, Buckskin Fire Depart- ment and volunteers, made several shoreline sweeps to make sure no other devices were left behind. Thank you to everyone who dedicates their time to ensure our commu- nity is safe.
