Linda O'Connor Govan '59 celebrated her 80th birthday with her husband of 48 years, Gregory, their five children and their spouses, 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She traveled to many places within the U.S., as well as the Panama Canal, France, and the Baltic. Heather lives in Merced, Calif., and she has two sons and six grandchildren. She currently works part time as a mediator/arbitrator after 21 years as a state court judge. Her son, Colin, is married, and Wendy has three grandchildren from him. Her daughter Megan teaches at Chicago State University and has been married for two years. Her youngest daughter, a singer, is engaged and lives in Laguna Beach. Wendy lives in Napa, Calif., and often visits her 108-year-old father in St. Paul, Minn. She plays violin in two orchestras and teaches at the Murphys School of Music, a nonprofit to encourage music in the community. She taught seventh grade science in Hartford, Conn., where she learned a lot about resilience, leadership, and grace. Emma is now studying for her master's in biomedical sciences at Colorado State University. She enjoyed reconnecting with Chi Omega sisters at Sarah Whitelock's '12 wedding.
