ver the course of two days, more than
110 attended the recent Delta Chi
70th Anniversary Celebration. What a
spectacular turnout!
We kicked things off with a golf outing on Friday,
which was attended by 48 alumni. A tailgate party
followed that evening before the OSU baseball
game.
On Saturday, lunch was provided at the Delt
Shelter so alumni could visit the Delt House
and their past memories before the shelter is
torn down in a year. Saturday evening was the
gala party to reflect on the past 70 years and to
kick off the public phase of the Pledge Delt Again
campaign to raise funds to build the new Shelter
at OSU.
e oldest alumnus who attended was 92 year old
Duane Pugh '52, who was in the first pledge class
for Delta Chi Chapter back in 1949. His chapter
number is #16. He shared a lot of great memories
with everyone at the event.
All in all it was a great weekend with many
memories made for all of us.
