9 | Mississippi Beta ® Investing in Our Future O ur investment in the future of Mississippi Beta will ensure the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater sisterhood. Today, perhaps more than ever, college sororities play a relevant role in shaping the lives of young women. Pi Phi provides a small-group living environment that offers our members a solid foundation for their education and also affords opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. e undergraduate women have made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many Pi Phi over the years. Together with our active members, the volunteer leadership of the House Corporation is committed to this major undertaking, which will allow us to renovate our chapter house and compete with other fraternities and housing options in Oxford. is stage of our project requires assistance from a highly selective group of alumnae—like you. We are working to identify sisters who have both the ability and interest to provide major assistance to the project. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the comfort and sisterhood Mississippi Beta provided during our years at the University of Mississippi. Now it is our turn to support Mississippi Beta and ensure that the same wonderful experience is available to others. We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your support, Pi Phi will continue to provide a quality living environment that supports, nurtures and develops outstanding young women with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. e commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Mississippi Beta sisters for years to come.
