You are the only one who can place a value on your Tri Delta membership— on the lifelong friendships you made and the confidence you gained. Our sisterhood is built on mutual respect, genuine friendship, and unconditional support for our members and our university. For over 100 years, our Theta Gamma sisters have made it possible for us to have this experience, and now it is our turn to secure the legacy of our chapter. Our investment in the future of Theta Gamma will ensure the success of our chapter as we Build on Excellence at 1611 College. With your support, our legacy will continue to provide a quality living environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young women with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. The commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Theta Gamma sisters for years to come. GIFT STRUCTURE Because of the magnitude of our objectives, we are urging all alumnae to consider major gifts to the campaign. In order for each alumna to maximize her participation, gifts can be structured over a five-year pledge period. Gifts in honor or in memory of other Tri Deltas, as well as family gifts, are welcome. Recognition in such cases will be given to both the donor and the honoree. DONOR RECOGNITION Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the strong history of Theta Gamma. How appropriate then that each of our names be entered into its halls. Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque. All donors contributing $1,000 or more to the campaign will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. Naming opportunities begin at $10,000. TAX-DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS A percentage of gifts to the campaign are tax deductible through the Tri Delta Foundation. The Internal Revenue Service will allow exclusively educational space in the home to be funded with tax-deductible dollars that are gifted to the Tri Delta Foundation and designated for the Theta Gamma Chapter. All other gifts will be made to the Theta Gamma House Corporation. PAY IT FORWARD Your investment in Theta Gamma will directly impact the lives of our current and future members. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we provide young college women with an environment that offers a solid foundation for their education and affords them opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. This stage of our project requires assistance from a highly selective group of alumnae—like you. We are working to identify sisters who have both the ability and interest to provide major assistance to the project. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the comfort and sisterhood Tri Delta provided during our years at the University of Oklahoma.
