Hey Kids! The May 2019 issue of Official Kids Mag
is here! Can you believe it's May already?
In this issue, learn about recycling and how every
one of us can have a positive impact on the earth.
We caught up with some kids in Bentonville who
believe in "Bringing it to the bin!"
For Kids Create, we have some tips for making
greeting cards so you can surprise your family
and friends with something your create yourself.
And you don't need a special holiday to brighten
someone's day; you can make a card for someone
anytime!
And talking about brightening someone's day,
check out our May Kid Heros. Ruby Kate started a
program that grants wishes for elderly people. She is
working hard to do great things for a lot of people.
Julianna, our other Kid Hero, loves teaching younger
kids about science at the Boys and Girls Club of the Ozarks. If you know a Kid

We went "berry" crazy for May. Kids Grow shows you how to plant
Strawberries, and Kids in the Kitchen has Strawberry recipes so you can use up
those berries you grow.
Also this month Official Kid's Mag met Jakob H., a seven year old who ran his
first 5K during the Hogeye race. He shares his strategy on running races.
