Special to Official Kids Mag
Julianna, an 11 year old, 5th grade
student of Branson Elementary
has been a member of the Boys &
Girls Club of the Ozarks since she
was seven years old. She attends
the Club as a 'tween' member
where she participates in fun
activities and programs that focus
on academic success, healthy
lifestyles, and character and
leadership development every
day afterschool and during the
Summer months.
Julianna is a role model to
younger members. Every
day at the club, Julianna
requests to serve,
helping Club Staff with
educational projects
and fun activities.
Julianna specifically
loves serving in the
Science Room with
Club Staff, Ms. Jenna Ely.
"Julianna is an
exceptional young lady.
She is always
a tremendous
help when our younger kids, the cadets and preps, are
in my Science classroom." said Jenna Ely. "She is kind and
patient and I can tell she truly enjoys teaching and helping
others. She has a servant heart and I am always thrilled to
have her visit and participate in our projects."
In preparation for Spring, Julianna helped younger members
plant wildflower seeds and showed them how to make origami
butterflies. Members will be able to take their projects home once
the flowers start to grow.
