A Slice of Pi One Love, One Moon, One Sisterhood Pi Chapter Continues to Succeed in Academics, Philanthropy, and Intramurals T he women of Pi Chapter finished the fall semester strong, and we are carrying that same drive through the spring semester. It's hard to believe this school year is almost complete! Pi Chapter finished the fall semester with a 3.639 GPA, finishing in second place among all Greek chapters. Our academic chairwoman, Clare Morehouse '17, planned a successful Scholarship Banquet to celebrate our members involvements and dedication to their academics. We are so excited to host Moonball this March, which is a basketball tournament benefiting Girls on the Run. Alisha Roarty '16, membership vice president, and Lacey Jessen '17, assistant recruitment chairwoman, have been busy planning recruitment for this upcoming August. This semester began with a cold trip to Chicago for the executive council where we attended the REAL Leadership Conference. This allowed us to collaborate with other chapters to develop our leadership skills. Karly Neuberger '15 served as executive director for Dance Marathon this year where she was able to help raise $203,365 to benefit the Children's Hospital in Omaha. We are so proud of all our members involved in such a philanthropic event. Rose Wehrman '16, collegiate-alumni relations chairwoman, planned a babysitting night in February where alumnae were able to drop their kids off at the house for free babysitting. Alex Engberg '17, events chairwoman, has been busy planning our Mom's Day event this semester, and we are so excited to welcome all the moms into the chapter house! Felicia Knoerzer '18, intramurals chairwoman, has been keeping us busy with a basketball team with the men of FarmHouse Fraternity. They have even been lucky enough to win a few games! We look forward to co-ed volleyball, sand volleyball, golf, and dodgeball this spring. Intramurals are a fun way to spend time with sisters. As always, our activities and involvements are keeping us busy here at Pi Chapter. We are looking forward to recruiting the next new member class in August, and we can't wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for us. Thank you to all our alumnae for the continued support. Please feel free to stop by the house at any time!
