But last year saw the introduction of an event that put some fancy into the notion of festival food. Cork & Fork is a limited-attendance evening featuring small bites from area chefs and wine, as well as entertainment, a raffle and door prizes. It will be held at Festival Park from 6-9 p.m. on ursday, April 25, the eve of the Dogwood Festival's public opening. Tickets are $40. e event raises funds for KidsPeace Foster Care Children's Fund.
