The Hair Story 167 Westwood Shopping Center Joanne Douglas welcomes everyone to her new salon, The Hair Story, at Westwood Shopping Center. Joanne is not a newcomer to the Fayetteville area. She moved back to Fayetteville after having lived in San Antonio, Texas, for a period of time, where she also had a salon of the same name. Being in the business for many years, Joanne knew one of the first things she wanted to do when she moved back to Fayetteville was to open a salon again. In 2018, we tried something new by bringing a few food trucks into the shopping center during lunchtime and we named it Tasty Truck Tuesdays. We invited local radio stations, car dealerships and even a few businesses that cater to children to participate. Some of the proceeds from vendors were donated to The Partnership for Children of Cumberland County, a worthwhile cause we are happy to support. We had so much fun and were able to raise money for important local charities that we are planning to do it again!
