Its brunch is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and features dishes like avocado toast, a steak and egg bowl, sweet cream pancakes, Applewood bacon Benedict and a brunch burger. Here are a couple more places that don't claim to serve brunch but that are known for great breakfast food: Lindy's, at 3001 Raeford Road, serves plain-good breakfast all day every day starting at 6 a.m. It won't be fancy but it'll be delicious, whether you want eggs any style, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, hotcakes or French toast. Mary Bill's Café, at 801 Elm St., has breakfast sandwiches, eggs, omelets, pancakes and French toast, and specialties like the Mexican Scramble and Burrito It. Metro Diner, at 2132 Skibo Road, has such fried chicken and waffles, breakfast pie and huevos rancheros on its breakfast and lunch menu, along with all the usual suspects.
