Face-painting, henna tattoos and bullseye bow archery range are just some of the ways kids can have fun at this year's KidZone at the Dogwood Festival. There are also handcrafted wooden toys and other amazing things to see and do. Going to the KidZone has become a beloved tradition for families at the Festival, and this year's line up brings the fun, big time! From toddlers to teens, there are activities for the young and young at heart. So get into the "zone" and don't miss any of these great attractions: Trackless Train What happens when the train runs out of track? Nothing but fun… with the Trackless Train, one of the Festival favorites. Hop on the train and chug along and around the festival. This one is great for kids of all ages…yes, that means parents too! Your conductor, Roger, is looking forward to seeing you on the train! No standing still! What is it about bouncing that's so much fun? Just ask kids, as they go bouncing in the bounce house, slide down the giant 20-foot inflatable slide, or take an adventure through an obstacle course "jungle" and compete to see who finishes first! 2-person gyroscope Get ready to go round and round with an adrenaline rush that's so much fun—for those without a weak stomach. Sticky wall Stick to the wall! Put on the Velcro suit and take a run at the sticky wall. And then, well, get stuck! It's so much fun and laughs galore! 25-foot climbing wall It's the kids' turn to climb the walls, with the amazing 25-foot climbing wall! With harnesses, head gear and a climbing crew to assist, test your climbing skill on the awesome "rock" wall that soars 25 feet into the air! Quad jump bungee Bounce high and take flight! Strapped in with giant bungee cords, you'll bounce so high you'll touch the sky! Face painting Come and get your art on! Stop by for real, artisan henna body art and face painting.
