Anna Claire Hay is the current
Miss Arkansas High School 2019
and has spent her year as Miss
Arkansas High combating bullying
through her platform B.R.A.V.E.
Anna Claire is 15 years old and
a sophomore at Shiloh Christian
School in Springdale where she
is on the honor roll, cheers, runs
track, shoots trap and serves on
Shiloh's SALT service leadership
team.
Anna Claire also sits on her
city's chamber of commerce youth
council board. Needless to say
she is no stranger to community
service, serving others or working
in her community. She started
her own non-profit at the age
of nine, she founded the Juanita
Brown Foundation in honor of her
late grandmother to support the
National Alzheimer's Foundations
and those suffering from dementia
and Alzheimer's. In addition she
manages Teens with Integrity, a
program she invented that has
helped connect over 8,000 teens
to volunteer opportunities within
their community.
Over the last year as Miss
Arkansas High promoting B.R.A.V.E
(building respect and values
for everyone) she has taken the
program a step further with the
You Can Sit With Us campaign
which puts ambassadors into
schools and workplaces across
Arkansas to combat bullying and
promote inclusion. Most recently,
she partnered with the Arkansas
Naturals Baseball team!!!
In addition to accolades from
many other corporations, schools
and clubs, Anna Claire is a three-
time Gold community service
award winner and this year's
Prudential Spirit of Community
Arkansas recipient, one of the most
prestigious community service
awards given.
