M
omentum continues to build at Delta Chi Chapter, as we see membership increasing, brotherhood
improving, and our presence on campus expanding. With these changes we also see growth in competition
with housing improvements on campus. Other groups at Oklahoma State are already rebuilding, remodeling,
or renovating to remain competitive in OSU's Greek community. FarmHouse, Pike, AGR, Sigma Chi, and
Fiji are just a few of the chapters that have made significant facility upgrades recently—and many more are
planning such enhancements.
In contrast, the Delta Chi House Corporation continues to maintain our aged Shelter, but it was not built for
the modern student who lives, socializes, and studies very differently. If our chapter is going to remain strong
in academics, leadership, and brotherhood, our Shelter must be reflective of that. We continue to monitor the
structure, hoping for the best but planning for the worst. With that goal in mind, the House Corporation is
working hard to support the needs of our undergraduates and we are excited about what the future holds for
our chapter.
As we make progress in our efforts, the chapter promises to improve the culture and brotherhood of our
fraternity. They recruited a 45-man pledge class with a brand-new recruitment team last summer and placed
in the top 10 for grades on campus.
The House Corporation will share our progress as we implement steps to ensure the chapter's future success
on the campus of Oklahoma State.
