s I write this, we are in the midst of a polar vortex, and the temperature here in Evanston is a frigid -24 degrees!
I'm sure all of you remember the feeling of the wind whipping off Lake Michigan, so I won't even mention the
windchill factor! Luckily, recruitment ended before the big freeze and classes have been canceled, so the students
are able to stay inside and enjoy their newly renovated surroundings.
For many of you who have not had a chance to visit the Sigma chapter house here at Northwestern recently, we
successfully completed some much-needed renovations on the first floor. The project was a true collaborative
effort with the current Delta Gamma collegians; their input and decision-making shaped the function and
design elements of the project. We took into account the way the collegians use
