The delay of its return, after two months, also enabled the network to retain new episodes to take the series through the end of the current broadcast-televi- sion season. The ratings for "SEAL Team" have held reasonably steady from where they were during its first season. Even though CBS hadn't made a decision on a Season 3 at the time of this writing, the show stands a good chance of getting renewed — espe- cially since, with the imminent departure of "The Big Bang Theory," the network likely will want every reliable performer it can keep.
