P A G E 3 MEET THE COLORADO ALPHA EXECUTIVE COUNCIL! Chapter President Kate Vesper '17 (405) 550–7488 kave0903@colorado.edu Kate is a sophomore from Oklahoma City. She is pursuing a double major in political science and public relations with a minor in leadership studies. She is involved on campus as a member of the President's Leadership Class. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Vice President of Member Development Aubrie Bailie '17 auba7416@colorado.edu Aubrie was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. She moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she is a pre-law student, majoring in criminal sociology and minoring in business. She is the vice president and secretary of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, where she dedicates her time through community engagement. When she isn't spending time with her family, dogs or friends, she is practicing hot yoga. Vice President of Fraternity Development Sophie Engerman '17 soen4322@colorado.edu Sophie is a sophomore from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. She is pursuing a double major in international affairs and voice performance, with a minor in business. On campus, she frequently performs in CU's choirs and in productions through the Eklund Opera. When she isn't studying, practicing or spending time with her friends, she enjoys hiking, skiing, playing piano and singing with her band, "e Jive Tribe." Vice President of Membership Taylor Desmond '17 tade6592@colorado.edu Taylor is a sophomore from Highlands Ranch. She is pursuing a major in advertising with a double minor in journalism and business. She enjoys yoga and spending time with her friends and family. Vice President of Finance Sydney Nager '17 syna1131@colorado.edu Sydney is a sophomore from Kansas City. She is pursuing a double major in finance and marketing with a minor in sociology. She has been a ski instructor for six years and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Vice President of Housing Georgia Crowe '17 gecr1292@colorado.edu Georgia is a sophomore from Marin County, Calif. She is pursuing a sociology major with a leadership studies minor. She enjoys spending time with children and hopes to work with them in the future. Vice President of Administration McKenna Kuhlman '17 mcku6113@colorado.edu McKenna is a sophomore from Grand Junction, Colorado. She is pursuing a psychology major with a minor in education. She loves to work with children and hopes to get her doctorate in pediatric occupational therapy. Vice President of Communications Isabelle Dean '17 isabelle.dean@colorado.edu Isabelle is a sophomore majoring in strategic communications and political science with a minor in leadership studies. She is passionate about social justice. She enjoys participating in student government, yoga and snowboarding. Vice President of Philanthropy Maddie Gile '17 magi0053@colorado.edu Maddie is a sophomore studying international affairs and leadership. She is originally from Fort Collins. She is involved in the CU Student Government and the President's Leadership Class, and enjoys volunteering, serving her community and hanging out with friends in her spare time. Vice President of Event Planning Abbey Huff '17 abbeyhuff11@gmail.com Abbey is a sophomore studying speech language hearing sciences with a minor in education. She is from Highlands Ranch, and is involved in volunteering on campus and loves to spend time working with people who have disabilities. She is an avid skier and enjoys hanging out with family and friends. Policy and Standards Board Chairman Hailey Vinje '17 havi9750@colorado.edu Hailey is a sophomore within the Leeds School of Business majoring in finance with a certificate in the business of sports. She was born and raised in Bozeman, Mont., and spent the majority of her time skiing at Big Sky Resort or singing. She loves to spend time with her family, friends and her dog. New Member Coordinator Madeline Bryan '17 mabr7320@colorado.edu Maddie is a sophomore majoring in public relations and minoring in business. She was born and raised in the western Chicago suburbs. Her passions include traveling, skiing, spending time with her family and her pup, Cyrus. Senior Member Coordinator Ella Soares '15 elso8134@colorado.edu Ella is a senior and will be graduating this spring. She will be receiving a bachelor's of science in marketing with a global business certificate within the Leeds School of Business. Since joining Colorado Alpha as a freshman, Ella has been involved and took over as New Member Coordinator in 2016 as well as Vice President of Membership Development in 2017. Ella was born and raised in Redondo Beach, Calif., but hopes to move to San Diego after graduation. Leadership and Nominating Committee Chairman Halle Wooten '15 hawo6334@colorado.edu Halle is a senior and will be graduating this spring. She is pursuing a major in public relations and a minor in business. Halle is actively involved with the chapter and served as the Vice President of Membership in 2017.
