Arrow UPDATE C O L O R A D O A L P H A C H A P T E R U N I V E R S I T Y O F C O L O R A D O | S P R I N G 2 0 1 9 REMODELED HOME BRINGS COLORADO ALPHA CLOSER TOGETHER T he Colorado Alpha Chapter has seen many successes through our members and their community involvement this past year, and we are working to make a stronger impact in our community. Although we don't have the finalized GPA from last fall, our GPA from the Spring 2018 semester was a 3.144. This GPA isn't where we want it to be, but this number reflects a raised GPA from the previous semester. We are continuing to implement programming that assists our members in their educational success. $6,800 RAISED FOR READ > LEAD > ACHIEVE® Our annual philanthropy event for the year was a kickball tournament. e members had a lot of fun with this event, which pushed us to raise $6,800 for Read > Lead > Achieve in 2018. We also have girls serving weekly in our community by visiting our local Family Learning Center, where they help children with their own academic success. We look forward to having an event that members in our community look forward to. As a new Executive Council has taken office, we are thrilled to see the changes they will make in our chapter. e executive members have been taking initiative to bring New furniture brings a fresh look to our formal living room. Details, such as this chandelier, go a long way in making our house beautiful! We love all the new decorations! Updates truly make the house feel like a home. more tradition to our chapter, as well as listening to our members and providing programming that fits their needs. THANK YOU, FRATERNITY HOUSING CORPORATION (FHC)! We could not be more thankful for the recent renovations to our home! It is exciting to see our members using and benefiting from our improved study rooms, as well as spending time with each other and watching movies in our freshly-decorated TV room. e new decorations and furniture bring light and joy into our home, and allow the girls to spend more time in our house. e renovations have also allowed us to participate more in our Panhellenic community, as we have a better space for hosting events with other chapters and their officers. We are eager to show off our house to alumnae at our Founders' Day Brunch at the house on Sunday, April 28. We hope to see you there!
