Jackson St. Money origami makes cash fun I am an advocate of giving cash instead of gift cards for holidays and birthdays. But the argument I get is that cash isn't fun. Then let's make it fun. Our first tipster, Christy, has been a DPL member for years and wrote to tell me that she followed my tip about money origami. ORIGAMI-SHAPED CASH. Per Mary's suggestion, I stopped giving gift cards several years ago. Instead, I give cash. I read somewhere (probably in one of Mary's books) to fold the money into fun shapes and then enclose the money with a note in an envelope. I Googled "money origami" and found several websites that instructed how to make different shapes. It was a lot of fun, and it always makes my recipients smile when they open the envelope. Gift cards are OK, but cash never expires, and it's accepted everywhere! -- Christy, California TRIED AND TRUE STAIN REMOVER.
