Twenty years later, someone is trying to get ahold of the tapes of his band's unreleased final album, and his surviving mates and a persistent reporter (Ellen Barkin) think it might be him. Tom Berenger and Joe Pantoliano also star. "Almost Famous" (2000) Director Cameron Crowe's love letter to 1970s rock music follows the ego-fueled travails of an up-and-coming band on what could be their watershed tour through the eyes of an impressionable teenage journalist (Patrick Fugit).
