Forever Committed to Our Founding Purposes
Mu Chapter Maintains Strong Academic and Leadership Presence
T
he fall semester quickly sprang into full
gear for the women of Mu chapter! From
academics to recruitment, we put our best foot
forward and have set oursevelves up for success
in the spring.
STUDIOUS HOOTIES
Mu chapter finished last semester strong with a
GPA of 3.490, which ranks us first among the
Greek chapters and is also higher than the all-
Cal, all-women, and non-Greek women semester
GPAs. Vice President Tayler Sulse '17 was "so
proud of the dedication to scholarship that our
chapter upholds," and added that, "our members
take pride in their academics and realize the
importance of hard work and dedication."
Our scholarship dinner in November was the
perfect celebration where we shared our love for
academics and Chi Omega with our professors.
WELΧOME HΩME
Recruitment Chairman Anna Ginther '17
successfully led our chapter through fall primary
recruitment. She proudly stated, "I have never
been more proud of our chapter than during fall
recruitment. It was an experience that brought us
closer together and strengthened the network of
love and support that we share. I know our new
members felt our love during recruitment and
will continue to do so in college and beyond!"
We extended bids to 45 incredible young
women who have already begun integrating
themselves in the chapter through roles on the
Cardinal Cabinet. New Member Educator Kat
McLaughlin '17 and her sisterhood support
team organized an incredible carnival-themed
Bid Day held in our very own home. New
members enjoyed pizza, snow cones, games,
dancing, and more!
LOOKING AHEAD
Our calendar was packed this semester as we
prepared for Big/Little reveal in October as well
as a fun "X" themed invite organized by Social
Director Sabrina Marvin '18! We also had
two philanthropy events, Wake Up for Wishes
Brunch and Chi O Casino, led by Philanthropy
Chairman Camellia Edalat '18.
To our Chi Omega alumnae, please feel welcome
to visit our home anytime. We would love to
show you around!
