PAGE 6 Find Your Reason to Make a Difference L ambda Chi Alpha means something different to all of us. You are the only one who can place a value on your membership in Lambda Chi—on the lifelong friendships you made, the development of your values and principles, and the many ways the fraternity experience enhanced your college years. Perhaps it was because of the Bike Team that you learned perseverance, dedication, and hard work would get you the results you desired. Maybe your time as High Alpha taught you how to work with others and that compromise would get you and others further than you expected. Perhaps your roommate or another brother was there for you in a time of need. We know that through it all, our years at 1210 East Third Street can be looked at as some of our best and most transformative. Whatever your reason, now is the time to give back so that future generations can have theirs. Our investment in Alpha-Omicron is vital to the future success of our chapter. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we provide young men with a small, group-living environment that offers a solid foundation for their education and affords opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. In recent years, we have seen other fraternities on campus lose their house and the history and brotherhood along with it. Can you imagine coming back to the IU campus and seeing strange Greek letters adorning YOUR house at 1210 East Third Street? A chapter is only as strong as the relationship that exists between the undergraduates and the alumni who once walked in their shoes. Supporting this campaign honors the past, secures the future, and the lifetime friendships and history of Lambda Chi Alpha at Indiana University. Our undergraduate brothers have already made a commitment to work hard in continuing the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many men over the years. With your support, Lambda Chi Alpha will continue to provide a quality fraternity experience that supports and develops outstanding young men with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. The Chops have planted our flag and staked our claim to our "city on the hill" for generations. 1210 East Third Street is OUR legacy, now and forever.
