PAGE 4 THE PLAN AT 1210 E. THIRd A building committee made up of AO alumni and High Pi Joe Folkening has developed and revised plans to address the long-term viability of the chapter house and the Lambda Chi experience at Indiana University. The aim for the campaign is to provide a subsidy for several improvements that must be completed to the chapter facility to bring it up to the standard of living that is required by today's students and to keep up with the level of competition that other Greek facilities are providing. GENERAL ENHANCEMENTS • Repair and replace plumbing and electrical systems to accommodate the volume/size of the house and address any safety issues. • Install a high-efficiency HVAC system for the entire building. • Make basic site and landscaping improvements to parking lot, property lighting, and landscaping for structural durability, security, and aesthetic appeal. • Improved wireless internet access throughout the facility was done in the summer of 2018. NEW ADDITION (Lower level) • Add dining and chapter space on the lower level to accommodate 160-plus men for meetings, ritual, and necessary chapter functions. • Redesign kitchen area to better serve the chapter and its guests. • Expand the Pete Baker Bike Room with an added service door for easy in-out access for team members and eliminate the need for carrying bikes upstairs and through the main floor.
