BOX 442100 LAWRENCE, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested THE NU'S Χ Ω "I am proud to be a part of this campaign because I'm working with a group of amazing women. It has been very satisfying to see us near our goal and I know it will be a great day when we get there. Every little bit helps and I would encourage all my sisters to contribute to this worthy cause." first time, I knew I belonged there. Everyone seemed real and I knew I could be myself. I think I most enjoyed the laughter and friendship. As an only child, it was great fun to have sisters." Annette encourages alumnae to remember their own fond experiences with Nu Chapter and create new ones today. Whether becoming involved with the Nu capital campaign or picking up the phone to rekindle friendships, the Chi Omega sisterhood is always ready to welcome sisters back. "I would encourage everyone to respect one another and the Chapter, to be as involved as possible, and to remain connected aer graduation. I have enjoyed reconnecting to Chi Omega as an advisor at Loyola University and a volunteer with the campaign. It has become a totally enriching experience." Even though Annette lives in Chicago, she still finds time to keep up with Badger football and her Nu sisters. She remains devoted to her local church and Chi Omega. Annette can be reached at avvgippe@gmail.com. "I live in Chicago and am the new member advisor at the Chi Omega Chapter at Loyola University. My lovely Lambda Mu sisters made it possible for me to attend Convention this summer to celebrate my 50th year as a Chi Omega. e city of Phoenix was wonderful, the educational sessions were fantastic, all the events allowed me to get to know my Nu sisters and wonderful women of all ages from around the country. e initiation ceremony was beautiful and was followed by a luncheon that honored all 50-plus members in attendance. It was extremely moving; truly, I will never forget the experience! I hope to attend in 2020 in Memphis." –Annette Van Veen Gippe '68 "Convention was awesome.
