After coming forward, Bill Whitaker of 60 minutes labeled him "one of the most important whistle- blowers ever to be on 60 Minutes." This year's Winstan "Bud" Sellick Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award was presented to Joseph Rannazzisi '84. The Paul E. Furnish Distinguished Alumni Phil- anthropic Award recognizes an alumnus that has committed financially to the Beta Zeta Foun- dation, Beta Zeta undergraduate philanthropic causes, and/or Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation. Our recipient was a Founding Fa- ther who was able to recruit, strategize and im- plement a process for bringing Delta Tau Delta back to campus and accepted the role of chapter president after Beta Zeta received its charter. One of his recommenders said, "Given his deep love and involvement with the chapter, it is not surprising that when contacted about supporting A Commitment to Excellence: The Campaign for Beta Zeta he agreed to make a leadership level gift." Because of the generosity of donors like our recipient, the campaign was a great success. This year's winner of the Paul E. Furnish Distin- guished Alumni Philanthropic Award was Aus- tin Dempsey '01. Carter Cox '20 and Jaret Rightley '20, chair- men for the 2018 Delt Dunk, gave an update on this year's event, benefitting the Matt White Cure ALS Foundation. In a special announce- ment, John Boudreau '17 will be taking over as the philanthropy alumni advisor role after after Greg Budney '07 steps dow at the conclusion of the school year. John is a former TRIKE co- chairman and I can think of no one better to step in for many years to come. Thank you to all the alumni who attended our momentous night.
