40 BEST OF THE BEST FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2013 • NWA MEDIA PROMOTIONAL SUPPLEMENT entonville's Accents Salon and Spa has featured Aveda products for some time, but recently was elevated to the company's premium "Lifestyle Salon" for sig- nature services and complete range of products, said owner Alice Zelahy. It is one of two businesses with that designation in Northwest Arkansas, Zelahy said. Aveda offers skin and hair products as well as scents and cosmetics, ac- cording to its website. It also certifies cosmetologists and other technicians as well as massage therapists. Accents' 25-member crew is trained by Aveda to bring clients "the latest tech- niques in color, cuts, facials, massages and body treatments," Zelahy says. Zelahy has owned Accents for 10 years. The salon is located in the South Walton Suites at 1120 S. Walton Blvd. Accents now is offering a wellness membership where a selection of the salons' services are available, including makeup and color consultations, for a monthly fee. A spa treatment lasts 60 minutes, so clients should allot 90 minutes to allow time for a consultation on the massage, as well as a foot bath and exfoliation and aroma - therapy, Zelahy says. Other services include Aveda manicure and pedicures, body hair removal, hair extensions and eyelash extensions. Accents is open at 9 a.m. seven days a week. The salon closes Mondays at 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 5 p.m., Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday at 9 p.m. More information or an appointment is available by calling (479) 271- 8300 or by visiting online at accentsalonspa.com.
