Scott McLain doesn't want his customers to worry on either count. McLain knows the car wash business thanks to his experience as an execu - tive with the area Boomerang car-wash chain. Last December, he took that knowledge and became the proprietor of Razor-Wash at 260 E. Joyce Boulevard in Fay- etteville, across from the Malco Razorback Cinema. "This is an express-level car wash," McLain said. "We use all the latest technology available to the car wash industry. If you wash in your driveway, you spend about 105 gallons, if not more. Using our system, you are using 25 gallons of water, as we use a reclamation system." Razor-Wash is a member of WaterSavers, a program of the International Carwash Association, he says. "All of our chemicals are biodegradable. We are as biosensitive as any [car wash] in the United States." While the facility is automated, McLain said, attendants always are there when open.
