Megabyte Computer Center in the New Creature building at 2003 Horsebarn Road is making an impression on customers, said owner Tom Frank. "Our customers comment on how nice the store looks and also how easy it is to get to," he said. "Being right off exit 83 on Interstate 540 is a huge advantage for us. Even the customers coming from Fayetteville and Fort Smith say getting to the store is so much easier than they an - ticipated." MegaByte sells and services all Apple products ex- cept iPhones. Offerings include in-stock, customized com- puters with faster processors, more memory and faster hard drives than standard models. "Many people still do not know we sell NEW Apple computers," Frank said. "Not a day goes by without us hear- ing someone say they thought we only repair computers." Because MegaByte is an Apple Specialist, it can provide the AppleCare Protection Plan — a three-year warranty program that provides one-stop service and sup - port from Apple experts. This is a big point of difference between MegaByte and the big box stores. The big box stores can not offer AppleCare nor can they do the actual repairs. MegaByte also holds the Premium Service Provid - er award. To keep this award, MegaByte must maintain the highest customer ratings for sales, service and repairs. "Less than 5% of all Apple Specialists in the United States holds this very prestigious award," Frank said. Customers also will find a large selection of high-end Apple accessories from brands such as Moshi, Booq and LaCie. MegaByte also sells and installs Meraki network equipment. "This equipment is enterprise quality and allows our business customers to have very strong wireless networks and also allow for site to site communications and back - ups," Frank said.
