Runner-Up HHH RUNNER-UP: GENERAL PRACTITIONER HHH nwadg.com/best Dr. Mark Bonner Special to NWA Democrat-Gazette L ocated in the Kantz Center on the northwest corner of East Mission Boulevard and Cross- over Road in east Fayetteville, Mission Family Practice offers an array of medical services for the needs of any family member. Dr. Mark Bonner is the principal in the practice and has been practicing family medicine for 25 years in Northwest Arkansas. A Little Rock native and graduate of the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and the Univer - sity of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Bon- ner is an Arkansas born-and-raised, Arkansas-educated physician who understands the needs of his Arkansas patients. Those with sports-related injuries can be assured of quality care from Bonner, as he has been a team physician for Arkansas Razorbacks sports teams for more than 13 years and for Fayetteville High School sports for 25 years. Having left a large corporate practice just this past December to open an independent practice and being voted by the readers of the Northwest Arkansas Demo - crat-Gazette in his first year of operation is a testament to the quality of staff at Mission Family Practice. Bonner accepts most all types of insurance and gov- ernment health programs. Mark Bonner Jr., Office Ad- ministrator, explains that Bonner never wants to refuse care to a patient based on policies and procedures. There are three advance practice nurses at Mission Family Practice with up to 18 years of experience each. These nurses play a pivotal role in Bonner's practice. Besides seeing traditional patients, they are available to treat urgent cases with minimal wait time, allowing Bonner to concentrate on patients who may need longer, more thorough examinations. Bonner would like to thank those who voted for him and to encourage people to make sure to get their check - ups and not to delay visiting a doctor when a person feels slight changes to their health. Early detection is key to preventative medicine and treating illnesses before they worsen and require more intense treatment. Those who wish to schedule an appointment or get more information can call Mission Family Practice at (479) 571-6000. NWA DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE Dr. Mark Bonner of Mission Family Practice was named runner-up in the General Practitioner category. Bonner brings decades of experience to Mission Family Practice Runner-Up
