They accomplish this with hands-on training with oth- er students and clients. Collectively, the four schools pro- vide an average of 4,000 services to clients each month. Training and services offered to the public include hair cutting, styling and coloring, as well as manicures, skin care and cosmetics. The campus has locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Siloam Springs in addition to the new Fort Smith location. A shampoo and cut is priced at $7 and offered at all locations. The Rogers and Fort Smith locations offer aes- thetic training and services, including facials, microderm abrasion, waxing and chemical peels. With a program for high school students offered through Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale, Ca- reer Academy has about 400 students enrolled at any one time, according to Butenschoen. "Ninety percent of the salons in Northwest Arkansas prefer to hire our students," he said, citing a survey he conducted.
