t h e L y r e l e t t e r AlPhA chi omegA P.o. boX 93 ogAllAlA, ne 69153 Address service requested W hy? Why do I volunteer for so many organizations, including Alpha Chi Omega, is a question I receive almost monthly. My response should be "Why not?" Instead, I share a story of meeting wonderful women, being set up with my husband by a pledge sister, and learning the power of philanthropy. What is your why? There is a reason you are reading this newsletter cover to cover. Think back to what you loved about Alpha Chi Omega and how Alpha Chi connected you to the people in your life now. Find your why and reach out to a sister today. Please join your area alumnae group and then challenge a sister to join with you. We want to see you and we want to connect with you today. Why? Because we appreciate you and we miss you. ALUMNAE MEMBERSHIP Alpha Psi Alpha and Kappa Kappa fall membership drives are underway. Dues start at $25 and cover national membership costs and Xi Chapter Hall of Commitment events and senior gifts. We would like to grow our membership so that we can hold more events and offer additional help to the community and local chapter. I challenge you to help us register more than 30 women in each location. Membership forms are available on Facebook (Alpha Chi Omega - Xi Chapter Alumnae) or via phone/email by contacting: Nichole Lipsys Palmer '94 nichole@knotsandtots.com | (402) 570-7659 Kappa Kappa serves Lincoln and surrounding areas.
