Lou Jean Moyer '49 graduated from KSU 66
years ago and has lots of fond memories from
her years in Gamma Zeta. She always looks
forward to news of her sisters. Lou Jean lives
in DeKalb, Ill., and recently moved around the
corner into a new apartment.
Anelle Lupton Mack '53 regularly travels with
several ladies from Midland, Texas, and plays
lots of bridge. Her local alumnae group is still
active, and they are working on recruiting more
members as Texas has lots of ΑΧΩ chapters.

Virginia Puckett Schneider '54 moved into
Good Samaritan Retirement Center with her
husband. They live in a cottage that surrounds
the main building and enjoy many activities
provided to keep them busy. They've made
several new friends and declared that "life is
good even in the mid-80s."
Sandra Stuckey '60 is officially retiring
from her part-time teaching position at a child
development center and becoming a docent
at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. She also
volunteers for CASA, Heartland Hope Mission,
and the Sienna Francis Homeless Shelter.

Roberta Hughes Donohue '63 is truly
appreciative of the Lyre Notes newsletter and
pictures! She writes, "It's refreshing to know
that Gamma Zeta thrives at KSU!" Roberta lives
in Greeley, Kan.
Sandra Hamill Fitzwater '68 is looking
forward to receiving her 50-year pin this fall.
She retired from Blue Valley School District

Virginia Lehew Kastenenjoys '71 is flourishing
in retirement and spending time with her six
grandsons. In April, she met with a group of
seven sisters from her class in Kansas City to
catch up. She hadn't seen most of them in over
40 years, though Ginnie keeps up with them on
Facebook. She reconnected with her little sister,

Teresa Brown-Bruch '80 is still working as a
principal engineer for Raytheon in Tucson, Ariz.
She shares that her daughter is studying animal
science at Auburn University. Teresa and her
husband enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending
time outdoors in their beautiful state. Teresa
keeps in touch with many ΑΧΩ sisters and

Joanne Wright Morgan '86 is celebrating 20
years with her company, Sunflower Publishing
Magazines, where she puts her wonderful
K-State journalism degree to work. Sunflower
Publishing Magazines creates and publishes
over 35 magazine titles, including KANSAS!,
Manhattan Magazine, Kansas Outdoors,
Topeka Magazine, Lawrence Magazine, and
KU Basketball Magazine. Joanne is proud of
her three daughters. "Strong, young women
raised to know the importance of giving back
to their communities, just like ΑΧΩs do!" She

Lori Slane Dermody '95 and her husband,
Ryan, live and work in Bishop, Calif. She is
employed as a watershed resources supervisor for
the city of Los Angeles Department of Water and
Power. They have two children, Hunter (11) and
Reagan (8), and a yellow lab named Lily. Feel

Jamie Tast-Pasley '00 works full-time at
T-Shirts Etc. in Topeka, Kan. Her son, Gavin, is
a sixth grader and her stepson is an eighth grader.

of marriage in June, and she enjoys being a PTO
