Broadway, Blythe, Ca In Memoriam DENNIS "DENNY" DRIVER IN LOVING MEMORY Dennis "Denny" Driver passed away Oct. 13th in Abrazo Hospital in Goodyear. After a brief battle with an infected gall bladder, and acute sepsis infection following hernia surgery. He was 72 years young. Denny spent most of his life help- ing others to fi nd their own bal- ance with their health. His mother died at the young age of 39 from Cervical Cancer. This infl uenced him to fi nd answers to the ques- tion "WHY". He has guided many people on their quest for a natural health. Denny will be remembered for his love of people. He took calls from around the globe day or night, hop- ing he could help someone. These last years he became invested in Foreign Currency. He called it a chance to dream again. He would not want you to be sad. Denny was the most positive person this world will ever see. He started every morning with a big smile. So look forward to a new day. He would want that. We made Quartzsite our home here for the last 13 years. He is sorely missed. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Nelson, residing in Quartzsite; his twin brother Dan Driver and his family, residing in Spokane Wash. May 10, 1966 – August 9, 2018 "Ray Ray" passed from this world on August 9, 2018 at Northwest Hospital Tucson. He was "adventurous, crazy, wit- ty" and was committed to serving Quartzsite VFW Post 769 and the community of Quartzsite through his life membership in VFW Auxil- iary – Post 769 and almost 10 years employment at Best Auto. He is survived by his father Ray Sr, 3 brothers, 2 sons, 2 step daugh- ters and 1 niece. His mother Clara is deceased. Ray Ray will be sorely missed by his family and his VFW Auxiliary Brothers and Sisters and the VFW Post 769 Comrades. Rest, Ray Ray, Rest In Peace. BERNICE VIVIAN CHAVIS Bernice Vivian Chavis passed away at the Stettler Hospital on October 7, 2018 at the age of 83. Bernice was born in Consort, Alberta to Marjorie and Olaf Lysgaard on Au- gust 15, 1935. Bernice is survived by her family: husband Randy Chavis; daughter Connie Quance; grand- children: Riley (Melanie) Quance and their children Ethan and Av- ery, Bruce (Sarah) Quance and their children Jorge and Keela, Amy (Glenn) Kobi and their children Meghan, Taylor, Sidney and Nata- lie; sister Thelma Buchan; brother in law Spencer Buchan; nephews Colin (Angela) Buchan and Robert (Trisha) Buchan and their families; as well as dear friends. Celebration of Bernice's life was held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Heartland Chapel of Stettler Funeral Home with Jan Richardson offi ciating. Nephew Colin Buchan gave a loving tribute and long time friend Lea Nicoll-Kramer presented her gift of music with Day is Done accompanied by Evelyn Strandquist on the piano. Honorary Pallbearers were Stan Quance, Wade Jameson, Murray Manson, Joanne Parsons, Kat Checkel and Spencer Buchan; pallbearers were grandson Riley Quance and great grandson Ethan Quance. Family and friends gath- ered in the Heartland Reception Centre for a time of fellowship and a luncheon by the Fenn Community Ladies. Memorial donations be made to Saving Grace Animal Rescue Soci- ety or a local animal charity of your own choice.
