Your gifts make it possible for our undergraduates to reside in a safe and comfortable home while remaining competitive at The Ohio State University. The following is a list of alumnae who gave to our spring 2018 appeal. Thank you for your support! he women of Rho Chapter have been working tirelessly to make this semester the best we have seen! Recruitment We recently participated in informal recruitment for this fall where we recruited four new members and hope to teach them everything we love about AEPhi! Last semester, we initiated 54 new members into our chapter. They loved learning about everything AEPhi has to offer and have been continuously participating in our sisterhood and chapter events! Philanthropy As for philanthropy, we recently hosted our annual basketball tournament called Phi Trotters. We had 43 teams sign up, paying $60 per team to participate. All of the money was donated to Sharsheret, one of our national philanthropies. We raised approximately $3,000 for Sharsheret from the tournament! We also hosted our annual Red Week this October and were thrilled to raise more money for our other philanthropy, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Sisterhood For sisterhood, we have been very successful in the most recent events. We had a Hai Poke truck come to our home and provide dinner for the chapter while everyone gathered and ate on picnic blankets together. We have our upcoming AEPhit Week, which is focused on healthy eating and exercising to keep healthy lifestyles during college. Additionally, we had our annual apple picking venture to Lynd's Fruit Farm where everyone got to spend the day together picking apples and shopping in the local fresh market. Alumnae/Parent's Events We hosted our first-ever alumnae brunch during Homecoming this year! We invited all alumnae in the Columbus area and whomever else was able to attend. During that same weekend, we had a Graeters truck come for our Parent's Weekend and a Sunday Brunch was catered in. We love showing our alumnae and parents what we love about AEPhi! Academics Once again, our women have been above the average PHA and OSU GPAs; a great accomplishment. For the next couple of months, Rho Chapter will be continuing our sisterhood efforts and striving to always increase our academic performance. We have been increasingly engaged in what the chapter has to offer and hope our continued efforts make this the best year yet! Thank you, alumnae, for your continuing support and love. We look forward to bettering the Rho Chapter you see today. As always, if you are in Columbus, our door is always open and we are excited to show you the Rho Chapter house!
