page 2 A NOTE FROM THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE F ounders' Day – Thanksgiving eve – is a special time to remember the brave, bold, and kind sisters who established Tri Delta, creating powerful bonds of sisterhood for generations of women who are "kind alike to all." As we celebrate 130 years of kindness this year, we invite you to honor a sister by making a donation to the Tri Delta Foundation. Anytime between World Kindness Day on November 13 and Giving Tuesday on November 28, please visit the Founders' Day website at www.tridelta. org/DDD130, make a donation and share your story of how a Tri Delta sister showed you kindness. As you know, our founders envisioned that membership in Tri Delta would last for a lifetime, and that alumnae membership would be as full and rich as collegiate membership. If you are not already a part of your local alumnae chapter, sign up today at www.tridelta.org/ foralifetime to experience unique benefits and share in the treasured friendship and growth that comes from Tri Delta sisterhood, including: • Fun and engaging events with Tri Deltas in your area • Philanthropy and service opportunities • Networking and connections • Regular updates and communications from Tri Delta Executive Office • Annual subscription to The Trident • Twice annual Tri Delta Town Hall Webinars with Fraternity President Kimberlee Sullivan Did you know that today, Tri Delta is an assembly of more than 230,000? Our members are unique, accomplished, loyal, and KIND – just like you. Thank you for "bringing you" to Tri Delta, and for helping us show the world "Our Kind of Kind" this Founders' Day and e very day. T he weekend of September 8, Theta Omega hosted 20 alumnae members from the pledge class of 1978 for a reunion brunch at the Chapter House. After brunch, they toured KU's campus and visited some of their old Lawrence favorites. They ended the weekend with an evening at the Oread Hotel. The alumnae members in attendance traveled from all around the country, some flying in from Florida, California, and Colorado, with others driving in from the Kansas City area.
