Stay Involved— Alpha Chis for a Lifetime A lumnae looking for ways to continue the service, leadership, scholarship and friendship of their collegiate days can find opportunities through the more than 180 Alpha Chi Omega alumnae chapters and clubs throughout the United States and several virtual chapters. While each chapter and club is different, all of the groups focus on providing service opportunities benefitting local women's shelters, social activities, networking and chapter support activities. Hall of Commitment, recruitment support, career days, snacks during finals, colonization efforts and fundraising are some typical ways that alumnae groups support chapters. Some of the larger chapters have subgroups for younger alumnae. It is a great way to meet women from other chapters who have either moved to the area or attended a school other than Mizzou. Of Alpha Nu's more than 2,000 active alumnae members, about 53 percent currently reside in Missouri. No surprise, the largest number are in the St. Louis and Kansas City metro areas. Columbia, Mo., has a large number of Alpha Nu alumnae—about 6 percent. Springfield, Mo. also has a large contingent of alumnae.
