KAPPA DELTA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI PAGE 9 Investing in OurFuture O ur investment in the future of Alpha Mu will ensure the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater sisterhood. Today, perhaps more than ever, college sororities play a relevant role in shaping the lives of young women. Kappa Delta provides a small- group living environment that offers our members a solid foundation for their education and also affords opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. The undergraduate women have made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many Kappa Deltas over the years. Together with our active members, the volunteer leadership of the Alpha Mu House Corporation is committed to this major undertaking, which will allow us to rebuild our chapter house and compete with other sororities and housing options in Oxford. This stage of our project requires assistance from a highly selective group of alumnae—like you. We are working to identify sisters who have both the ability and interest to provide major assistance to the project. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the comfort and sisterhood Kappa Delta provided during our years at Ole Miss. Now it is our turn to support Alpha Mu and ensure that the same, wonderful experience is available to others. We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your support, Kappa Delta will continue to provide a quality living environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young women with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. The commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Alpha Mu sisters for years to come.
