I took a little time to reflect on my time at Indiana Beta. Memories of The Lodge are forever engrained in who I am. During a recent golf trip which included brothers from several classes, one of our brothers reminded me that The Lodge changed me. As a so- cial fraternity, SAE grows our social skills and abilities to communicate with brothers from all over the world. It also develops our ability to lead and influence others. Perhaps most of all, SAE strengthens our ability to make and maintain lifelong relationships. As all that is so important to my life I have no other choice but to do my part to ensure The Lodge is there for future generations to experi- ence that same growth and change. With this letter I am increasing my pledge from $7,500 to $10,106 and have enclosed the final payment so that this is received in full. I also issue a challenge to the brothers of the '80s and those that came before and after to reflect on their time at Indiana Beta and make the commitment to invest in the future of SAE and Purdue. If you pledged, add to it and pay up. If you have not pledged, do so and send in that first payment. Be a Brother Hero, act and make a difference. Phi Alpha, Maurice Galey '85
