Z eta Phi Chapter of Beta Theta Pi had a very successful spring semester in grades, campus in- volvement, and philanthropy. Our members contributed to multiple organizations around cam- pus, and we are excited to welcome a strong new member class to 520 S. College Avenue this fall. University Officials Welcomed at Zeta Phi Last fall, the members of Zeta Phi welcomed Dr. Mun Choi, the president of the University of Mis- souri System, to the house for a sit-down dinner along with Jonathan Curtright, the CEO for MU Health Care, and Gary Ward, the vice chancellor of Student Affairs for Mizzou. At dinner, alumni and active members had encouraging conversations with the president about the University of Missouri Greek system and the steps they are hoping to take in the future. I would like to thank the alumni for organizing such a great event. 3.28 GPA Earned in Spring The chapter achieved a grade point average of 3.28 for the spring semester. We are still well above the average male GPA, the average Greek GPA, and the average University GPA. While we did not place first by several hundredths of a point, we are extremely proud and looking to achieve a much higher all-around GPA this fall with a great new class of 40 men moving into the house. Grades are our top priority at the Beta house as we move into the fall semester. We Thank You, Alumni We would also like to thank Bill Toalson '70 for his work as the business manager over the years. We have such strong alumni and chapter advisers that care a lot about the future of Beta Theta Pi—the chapter wouldn't be here without you. We hope to see anyone that comes by in the fall for a football game. Feel free to stop by the house and meet our newest members!
