Phi Mu Fraternity at Ole Miss 3 S pring 2018 was an exciting whirlwind of a semester for the Alpha Delta Chapter! Our newly elected executive committee members got to work right away in eager hopes of improving our Chapter and pushing Alpha Delta to new heights. This summer was eagerly awaited as our Chapter President Erin Larkin '15, Philanthropy Chairman Malia Willis '16, and Chapter Adviser Anne Cofer '03 received the opportunity to attend the Phi Mu National Convention in the fabulous Las Vegas! In addition to cultivating relationships and innovative ideas for the future, the Alpha Delta Chapter was recognized for several awards, including the CMN Hospitals Impact Award, the Outstanding Philanthropic Chapter Award, a Panhellenic Award, and an Academic Honor Roll Award. We are thankful for a memorable week full of celebrating our vibrant national sisterhood and are so proud of our Chapter's hard work. As always, our spring calendar was overflowing with events for our Chapter. We finished the semester with a Chapter GPA of a 3.34 overall and 63 of our members finished with a 4.0 GPA! Along with celebrating our sisters' academic achievements, we were overjoyed with the success of our spring philanthropy event, Bonnamu. This battle of the bands event was held during our parent's weekend, so parents and the Oxford community alike came to celebrate a fun night that ended in our sweet Katie Mae presenting the band awards! Through this inspiring event, we were able to raise over $17,000 for CMN Hospitals. Furthermore, Alpha Delta was recognized as the largest contributing Chapter for the M3 Foundation for the fourth year in a row, so we look forward to celebrating this feat with our National Phi Mu Foundation members and officers this coming semester! Stay tuned for the big philanthropy plans we have for this semester. The Alpha Delta Chapter continues to strive to be the best that we can be and we are so thankful for all of your love and support! Please be on the lookout for upcoming events and information regarding ways to stay involved and support our Chapter. We hope to see you this fall and, as always, Go Rebs!
