O
ur house was built in 1957 and consequently the physical
structure is showing its age. Although the house corporation
and active membership have worked diligently to keep the
house safe and comfortable, they simply cannot maintain the house
to the necessary standards. Because of this, the Sigma Chi House
Corporation, alongside the undergraduate leadership, has developed
the following plan to address the long-term viability of the Sigma
Chi experience at Ole Miss. We've engaged the architectural services
of PryorMorrow, who designed the early 1990s renovation and has
experience with other fraternity and sorority houses at Ole Miss and
Mississippi State.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Our expansion and renovation plan is grounded in the following goals:
t Create areas that allow for in-house and out-of-house members
to socialize, study, and eat together by expanding the dining
area, building a chapter room, and increasing common area
space.
t Update the interior to be competitive with other housing
options.
t Provide additional rooms for members to study individually or
in small groups.
t Increase the sleeping capacity of the house by adding bedrooms.
